ABOUT ME

UI / UX / Visual Designer, Conceptual Thinker, Brand Builder, Art Director.


I'm a creative professional with a passion for design and strategy. As an Art Director at OpenText, I oversee the strategic development of CEO assets, establish a robust brand identity, and craft innovative visual concepts. Additionally, I enhance my leadership capabilities by spearheading complex design initiatives.


Previously, at IBM, I led global creative projects, elevating the brand and supporting major conferences while collaborating with executives on high-level strategies in the software business units. At Metamail, I built user interfaces for software applications, designed UI/UX and mock-ups, managed the full lifecycle of R&D projects, and collaborated with the marketing department to create advertising materials that boosted sales.


My technical journey began at CAE, where I developed lifelike graphical interfaces for aircraft and marine vessel simulations, partnering with engineers to provide a realistic training environment for pilots and operators. This role honed my skills in visual representation and programming, and allowed me to guide technical specialists on intricate projects. These foundational experiences paved the way for my growth in expertise and leadership. Today, I leverage these skills to drive strategy, build brand, and create innovative concepts.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Art Director

Manage all visual design initiatives of OpenText CEO strategic campaigns and communications. Collaborate with internal partners across functions to delivering complex, highly visible and impactful programs supporting CEO thought leadership strategy. Setting the corporate visual standards and devise innovative ways to build storytelling design as well as product business development experience in the enterprise software sector.


Senior Creative Designer

Managed the IBM Information Management software brand on all creative initiatives for 7,000+ worldwide marketing and sales members. Developed conceptual design in visual representations to convey xIBM initiatives (400,000+ employees) for advancing the brand’s appearance. Provided creative support for largest annual conference attended by 13,000 clients and partners, generating high quality leads for business.


User Interface Designer

Designed highly functional UI for various applications and created visual product mock-up for investors and shareholders, contributing to investments of over $10M in direct R&D investment. Developed product prototype and personas for usage scenarios and usability studies. Re-designed corporate website interface to simplify and streamline content, enhancing user experience and producing significant traffic for generating sales.
